Vinkler Law Welcomes Kelsey J. Burge, JD
On behalf of Vinkler Law Offices, the firm is pleased to announce they have hired Kelsey J. Burge who began with the firm in July 2020. We expect she will pursue our clients’ cases with energy and commitment after sitting for the Illinois Bar Exam in October.
KELSEY BURGE graduated from Northern Illinois University College of Law near the top of her class as summa cum laude.
Ms. Burge graduated in 2017 from Bradley University with a B.A. in International Studies, where she received the 2016 Eve Nyaradi Dvorak award for Inspiring a Better World and the 2017 Outstanding Senior in International Studies award. In 2020, Ms. Burge received her J.D. from Northern Illinois University College of Law. Throughout law school, Ms. Burge served as a Research Assistant, a Writing Coach for the Northern Illinois University Writing Center, the Philanthropy Chair for Delta Theta Phi, and the Research Editor of Northern Illinois University Law Review for Volume 40. Ms. Burge participated the Weschler Criminal Law Moot Court Competition. Ms. Burge also received several honors throughout her law school career, including; Dean’s List; Third Place and Best Oral Argument, Runner Up in the 37th Annual Lenny B. Mandell Moot Court Competition; publication in the Northern Illinois University Law Review Online Supplement, Volume 11; and Most Valuable Member of Law Review, Volume 40.
During law school, Ms. Burge gained valuable experience working for the Attorney Registration and Disciplinary Commission in Springfield and she worked as a judicial extern in the Winnebago County courthouse.
